It's almost Frosty Fest time again! Last year, Freedom House hosted Brantford 1st annual winter carnival on the Family Day Weekend. Over 3 days last year, we estimated that 10,000 people passed through Frosty Fest! That's 10% of our city, skating, riding carnival rides, watching professional ice carver in action, playing free games for free prizes, riding ponies, eating & drinking, and clip clopping through the downtown on horse drawn trolley rides. Check out the whole photo collection on Facebook here. Here's Captain Kindness to show you around...
This year, Frosty Fest is on February 19, 20 and 21st 2011... once again over the Family Day Long weekend! This years additions include 5 carnival rides (instead of one), traditional Canadian Winter Funnel Cakes, and lots of great family entertainment on the Holiday Monday & throughout the weekend! Here's what Mike Hancock, Dave Levac, Phil McColeman and our Town Crier shared about Frosty Fest.
We are offering opportunities for you and your business to financially partner in this new Brantford family tradition. You can have your name on an ice sculpture, put your name on one of the carnival rides, or perhaps even the Horse Drawn Trolley! There are a number of options outlined below all with great importance. It's the commitment of our partners that MAKE this festival happen and are vitally important to it's success.
Each day we'll be broadcasting live on Freedomhousetv.com (The online program that hosted Brantford's first online and interactive mayoral debate this fall) from Frosty Fest and we're excited to have YOU as a sponsor as our guest. Please email Nicki Straza (nicki@freedomhouse.ca) Brian Beattie (brian@freedomhouse.ca) or Dave Carrol (dave@freedomhouse.ca) for details and contracts.
What's the big idea? It's easy. Change Brantford BY good INTO good. Here comes Frosty Fest 2011!
